I'm Hip

It is less than a week to go until  'Peel Me A Grape' - Songs of Dave Frishberg -  at The Half Moon with the Trish Elphinstone Quintet!
Last night, I listened to Blossom Dearie and Dave Frishberg singing their versions of 'I'm Hip' on Youtube.  I lost count of how many times I listened to them both... and I sang along heartily... of course.

The after effect of all that listening was that I couldn't turn the song off ... so I kept hearing Blossom Dearie singing 'I'm Hip, I'm no square...' all night long...

It's still a great song (even after that)!
I'm looking forward to singing it myself.

I am thrilled, delighted and exceedingly chuffed to be singing at the Half Moon with the Trish Elphinstone Quartet.  I will be singing some Dave Frishberg songs and there will also be some tunes from The Great American Songbook.
